The G6GHP-TV transmitter was on the air from Red Sand Fort in the Thames Estuary during July 2008 on 2318MHz, operating as a test beacon and relaying live pictures of the activities on board, this was the period that 'Red Sand Radio'1278Khz was on the air.
The 13cmsATV beacon will be back on the air on a more permanent basis as soon as possible, with upgraded equipment and a wind tubine providing the power . The installation has been delayed by the damaged landing stage.
